Aren’t these neat? From Swedish kids design brand, Our Children’s Gorilla comes these cool flat pack dollhouses. They are made from high quality fiberboard and are easy to decorate. Inexpensive enough to buy both the brownstone and the firehouse and available through Huset at only $35 each.
They may not be as durable as a traditional wooden dollhouse, but I think I would prefer one like this. You can actually play with it and not worry about messing it up like one of the several hundred dollar versions. Hopefully they will be adding more buildings to the neighborhood soon.
