Mark and I have recently finished planning a family road trip for us to venture on together. We’ll be heading out in late August. Just in time to wrap up the summer before thinking about school clothes and new teachers. It seems so far away right now, especially with the weather we have been having lately.
Since we never plan our family vacations for the summer, usually traveling in the Spring or Fall, we thought it might be wise to book a few things now. Good thing we did because there are quite a few others who happen to think the same way.
While this is our first road trip style vacation, other than our annual Baltimore weekend, I feel we will be well prepared for the time in the car. I have over five months to plan activities and research fun stops along the way.
I will update as I come across more finds and please share if you have any helpful tips or sites that I should be looking at.
Here are few of the things I’ve come across so far.
- Skip the pump. Type in your starting city and GO!
- If you can’t find it here, you won’t find it anywhere.
- Mom’s Minivan – lots of printables and links.
- Taking the Kids?
- No passport required.
- For your viewing pleasure.
- Jelly Bean or crayons?
- Pricey, but so pretty.
Have a wonderful day today and…
