Since returning home from Camp Mighty I have been thinking a lot about how I could best write a post detailing the weekend that made a shift in me. A shift in how I view my life. In how I want my life to be. Those days and nights I spent among the smart and funny, talented and wise. But then, I realized as I was reading what others were recapping, linking and highlighting that there was only one thing to do.
Thank the two of you.
You are the reason I took days away from my family and cash out of my account to gather with like minded people. It was done with the hope of making new connections and coming out on the other side more insightful. Better directed toward living an intentional life and getting down to the Life List itself.
I know it seems quite a task to be responsible for so much, but for most of us, it was just that important to get there and do those things. Connect, share, gather, laugh and enjoy ourselves. That was, without any hesitation in saying so, accomplished. I have at least 40 new friends and a Snoopy Space Beagle shirt to prove it.
Not wasting a single moment since meeting you both, I’ve started creating the life I desire. One step at a time. Putting it out there to my new friends and team-mates. Letting go a little (OK a lot) of the fear and knowing that it will always work out. No matter what. As long as I stay true to the intentions I set out to achieve.
See what you started? With a six day sell out, it was destined to be a movement. A Mighty movement. I can say this because I know I’m not the only one who was so deeply affected by what you two did. You gave us a reason to come together and allowed us to be okay with doing it. Whatever that IT may have been. And that, my friend(s), is about as mighty as it gets!
From the bottom of my heart, thank you both so very much.

My readers,
Please, take a look below. Read their stories. Make sure you click on their links to the other stories. And believe it or not, those people have even more links to more stories. Every one will be worth your time reading. I promise. These are good people. The kind you want to keep.
Change will be a theme from the first post through to the very last. Because that’s what happened over the course of that extraordinary weekend. And know that for me, every minute was timeless and every penny spent was worth its weight in gold. Five rings worth.
