This isn’t as much of a tutorial as it is an “Ooooh pretty rainbows!” post. We aren’t huge St. Patty’s Day celebrators in this house, but please don’t tell my mom! No shamrock craft cutouts or lucky charms hanging around here. Instead, I thought I would show you a few party ideas that will help you find your pot o’ gold.
We just can’t get enough cake pops can we? How about a few in all the colors of the rainbow? I’m telling you, I will make these someday. It’s driving me batty how many times I come across cake pop recipes and ideas. I love these bite size desserts!
For fun, here’s a quick download for some pretty rainbow pennant flags. Attach them to your drink straws, an invite or lollypop treats.

The idea of creating a cake in a jar has always fascinated me. I often wonder if it really works. It seems the baking part may take some looking after and testing to get it fully cooked without drying out. Have you ever made one? Was it easy or difficult like I am imagining?
Maybe it’s my obsession with French macaroons, but these rainbow cookies (which aren’t macaroons at all) will be added to my ever growing list of bookmarked ideas.

I’m currently in planning mode for Claire’s upcoming birthday party and have been researching ideas. One of these just may work its way into the celebration. I promise, there won’t be any unicorns!
