Have you picked out your pumpkin yet? Claire thinks anything remotely resembling a pumpkin is her pumpkin. I suppose when you are two, you assume everything is yours? When we were on our school field trip visiting the farm, along with apple picking, each kid went home with their own pumpkin. This led us to scrapping our annual pumpkin picking adventure. I would still like to get out with Mark (he missed the field trip) and visit a farm with the whole family to see some of the fall festivities we have in our area. Maybe a night time corn maze is in order if the rain can hold off!
What are your plans for the weekend? Any Halloween parties to attend? Maybe finding your own perfect pumpkin?
We will be clearing off the porch and battening down the hatches in case Sandy decides to stop by for a visit. I’m hoping she will take a sharp right turn and get lost!

Gil’s running Marine Corp Marathon on Sunday, Becca turns 4 tomorrow, and then we plan on taking the kids to a local Halloween parade. Should be a busy weekend!

Soccer game tomorrow, drama class Sunday and in between hanging out, a farmer’s market and probably hitting the pool too. Maybe a spin class to make up for what I missed today!
