Hurricane Sandy Ruins and Remains

Now that the winds have settled down around here and my head has cleared, I wanted to get back online and reconnect with everyone.  Our town is full of uprooted trees, downed wires and crushed lamp posts along with several homes hit along the path of Sandy.  Living in the ruins, most are still without electric and basic resources but are finding aid from friends, family and the community.  What a great group of people we live with here in this small farming town.  So generous and willing to help their neighbors in such a time of need.

With many still suffering through unimaginable circumstances much greater than my own, I have nothing to say other than I am thinking about each and every one of you.  All the parents trying their best to provide, elderly who are alone and frightened, children in those evacuated hospitals and the workers who show their unwavering commitment to their profession and the people relying on them.  You are all my heroes.

Be safe.  Be well.
